Creative Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist (Alcohol Brands – Full-Time Opportunity, NYC)

We are a US-based alcohol importing company located in NYC, working with premium spirits and beverage brands.

We are looking for a creative Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our Instagram, LinkedIn and email marketing. This role starts as a freelance/contract position, with a clear opportunity to transition into a full-time role and potential visa sponsorship to relocate and work in NYC for the right candidate.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the brand.

Responsibilities

Instagram & Social Media

Create creative, visually strong Instagram content (posts, reels, stories)

Think outside the box and bring fresh content ideas

Build monthly content calendars aligned with brand voice

Design assets using Canva and/or Photoshop

Edit short-form videos (Reels, Stories)

Manage engagement (comments, DMs)

Track performance and optimize content

Collaborate closely with paid ads strategy (organic + ads working together)

Email Marketing

Create branded email campaigns (copy + layout)

Support email flows (launches, promotions, newsletters)

Maintain strong brand storytelling and voice

Work with platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar

Analyze email performance (open rates, CTR)

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing Instagram for brands

Strong creative and visual design skills

Proficiency in Canva and/or Photoshop

Short-form video editing experience

Email marketing experience (copy + design)

Strong English communication skills

Ability to work independently and proactively

Interest or experience with alcohol, beverage, or lifestyle brands

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience working alongside paid ads (Meta / Instagram Ads)

Understanding of US consumer branding

Experience in spirits, wine, or beverage marketing

Basic knowledge of ad creatives and performance metrics
